These magnets are 1/8" thick naturally green poplar wood, just under 3" x 2". The design is created then laser engraved and cut. A few coats of spray lacquer are applied to protect the wood, then a polyurethane blend is brushed on to improve the texture of the piece. After all finish coats are dry the magnet is affixed to the back.
