In Borderlands Dahl is a gun manufacturer - one of the defining characteristics of Dahl guns is that they "burst fire while zoomed", which when combined with an elemental effect can be very handy!
The wood is 4" square and 1/4" thick naturally green poplar, cut by hand on a scroll saw. They're finished with 3 coats of a water-based polyurethane for water resistance, and backed with 1/8" thick cork painted to highlight the design - these deskorations can double as coasters! The wood grain of all hardwoods is quite variable, so every deskoration is unique.
