Monkey D. "Straw Hat"Luffy is the main protagonist of the One Piece manga series, created by Eiichiro Oda. Luffy made his debut in One Piece chapter #1 as a young boy who acquires the properties of rubber after inadvertently eating the supernatural Gum-Gum Fruit.
The wood is 4" square and 1/4" thick cherry, cut by hand on a scroll saw. It's finished with 3 coats of a water-based polyurethane for water resistance, and backed with 1/8" thick cork painted to highlight the design - these deskorations can double as coasters! Cherry wood grain has a lot of variation so every deskoration is unique.
