This deskoration is of the adorable Pokemon character, Squirtle.
The wood is 4" square and 1/4" thick cherry, cut by hand on a scroll saw. It's finished with 3 coats of a water-based polyurethane for water resistance, and backed with 1/8" thick cork painted to highlight the design - these deskorations can double as coasters! Cherry wood grain varies so much from board to board, so every deskoration is unique.
