James Howlett became Wolverine when he was kidnapped by the Weapon X program - they fused adamantium onto his already mutated bones (his bone claws first emerged when he was a young man living with his family in Alberta, Canada in the late 1800's). His extremely keen senses, enhanced strength, and incredible healing factor got him through many deadly situations, and though he is definitely more antihero than superhero, he still tends to be considered one of the good guys.
The wood is 4" square and 1/4" thick walnut, cut by hand on a scroll saw. It's finished with 3 coats of a water-based polyurethane for water resistance, and backed with 1/8" thick cork colored to highlight the design - these deskorations can double as coasters! Walnut wood grain varies a lot from board to board, so every deskoration is unique.
Be sure to order a deskoration stand to display Logan on your desk or mantel - you can find the stands here: https://centuryartisans.com/products/deskoration-stands
